A world class competitive status in painting, carving and sculpting were largely responsible for Dr. Bednar's acceptance into the world-renowned Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery program at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, after graduating from medical school at Wayne State University in Detroit in 1982.
This program in particular, which was founded on philosophically artistic approach, was instrumental in Dr. Bednar's unique approach to his with plastic surgery practice.
